A realtime digital model I made for Voss Folkemuseum together with my sister Kari who did the programming. It is a part of the exhibition at the museum and allows the visitors to navigate around the the town of Voss, Norway, as it appeared in 1930 by using touch screens. The aim of this project is to create a VR experience that can take visitors on a tour back in time. The model of the town is based on precise measurements and old photographs. The area covered is about 1 square km with several hundred buildings. I did all the lowpoly modeling in Zbrush using zmodeler brush and insert mesh brushes, and used modo for UVs. The rest was done in Unity.
